1.1. The Conference – the World TA Conference 2020 running 16-18 July 2020 in Birmingham, UK1.2. Associated Events – workshops running before and after the conference – the TA 101 running on 14-15 July 2020,
and Post-Conference Workshops running on 19 July 20201.3. Social Events – the Gala Dinner on 17 July 2020 and the Evening Event on 16 July 20201.4. The Organiser – World TA Conference 2020 Ltd, Company
number 11888966 , incorporated 18 March 2019 in England & Wales1.5. The Delegate – a person who intends to attend the conference and/or the accompanying social events and/or the associated events1.6.
The Presenter – a person who offers to present a session at the conference and/or the associated events1.7. The Volunteer – a person who offers to become a member of the Scientific Committee which will be
evaluating presenter proposals1.8. The System – the registration process being used to process registrations for the conference, accompanying social events and the associated events, and for the submission, acceptance
or rejection of presenter proposals and scientific committee volunteering
2.1. Completion of the online registration form and completion of the payment process will be treated as a booking by the Delegate whose name appears.2.2. Completion and submission of the presenter proposal
form will be treated as an offer by the potential Presenter whose name appears to provide a session at the conference and/or at the associated events, subject to acceptance by the Scientific Committee2.3.
Completion and submission of the Scientific Committee volunteer form will be treated as an offer by the person whose name appears to voluntarily join the Scientific Committee with the purpose of taking part in the evaluation
of presenter proposals2.4. The Organiser reserves the right to alter the scheduling and/or the content of the conference and the associated events and shall not be held liable for any damages of any Delegate
or Presenter due to such changes.2.5. When Delegates have made early bookings before the details of the conference and/or associated events have been made available, such Delegates will have the right to a
full refund of the payment they have made if they choose to cancel within four weeks of the issue of such details.2.6. If Delegates wish to cancel bookings that were made after the details of the conference
and/or accompanying social events and/or associated events have been published, there will be a refund of 75% of the payment received, less processing costs of refunding, provided such cancellation is made before the
last day of December 2019, or of 50% of the payment received less processing costs of refunding provided such cancellations are made before the last day of April 2020.2.7. Notwithstanding Clause 2.6, The Organiser
will consider whether it is possible on request to give a greater refund in cases of significant personal hardship, taking into account the total number of bookings eventually received.
3. The System
3.1. Those completing any of the forms, including those completing them on behalf of other persons, guarantee that the details they provide will be accurate and intentional.3.2. The System will be operated
provided will be used only for purposes associated with the Conference.3.3. The Organiser will amend or remove the online registration form when available places at the conference and/or accompanying social
events and/or associated events have been filled.3.4. The Organiser reserves the right to remove the presenter proposal form and/or the Scientific Committee volunteer form on the appointed closing date or
at such earlier date as enough submissions have been received.3.5. The Organiser is registered within the UK for Value Added Tax and will issue receipted invoices or credit notes for all payments received
